Small bale Haylage season begins

The beginning of June spelled the start of the Hay & Haylage season. Whilst we tend to wait till July before making our first batch of Hay due to the high sap content in the grass, we did not pass an opportunity in June to benefit from the sunshine and we made our first batch of small bale meadow haylage. These will be on sale in 8 weeks time to our equine customers and provide dust free forage throughout the winter months.
